Where treasures are found detailed information. Treasure in your home is not a fairy tale, but an obvious reality

Have you ever thought that in order to find a treasure, you don’t have to travel to some incredible distance, but just look around your home, think, reflect and logically determine its location in your living areas? It turns out that this is quite possible; you should not assume that a treasure in your home is an idea from the realm of fantasy. Especially if the building is more than 50 years old. Old buildings are an ideal place where you can probably find a treasure, albeit small. After all, the concept of “treasure” does not necessarily mean a pot of gold - even a few coins, banknotes or jewelry from a century ago can be very valuable.

So, how and where to look to find treasure at home? If you are the owner of a country house that was built by your great-grandfather, then you can guarantee that the first finds may be in door and window blocks and even in cash. Although, at first glance, these places may seem incredible, but, as the practice of treasure hunting shows, coins, various buttons, pen feathers, small objects, receipts and much more are found here that can be of interest to both collectors and government officials. museums.

The second generally accepted place is the joints of the mother beams of the floor structure. Of course, they are not so easy to get to, and you will have to stock up on tools in the form of a hatchet and a prybar, since you will have to remove the floor covering to get to the indicated place. To be more confident in finding valuable items here, you can use it, although without special preparation for working with it, it is not difficult to be deceived and mistake forged nails and staples for valuables, by means of which the uteruses were fastened together. But silver coins or even banknotes can be a pleasant bonus; it was customary to hide them here for a “rainy day.”

By the way, there is still such a tradition as “wasting money” at a wedding, when guests and toastmasters begin to shower the newlyweds with small change and then force the bride and groom to collect it, either by hand or with the help of a broom and dustpan. Naturally, some coins “sank” under the baseboards and rolled into the cracks, perhaps in order to wait for the treasure hunter in your person.

Another Russian tradition is to ensure the well-being and prosperity of a house when it is founded. To do this, coins were placed under each corner. And the more prosperous the owner of the house was, the higher the value of the banknote. Of course, it’s not always easy to get to the corner, but given that the coined money that went out of circulation was quite large in diameter, and the logs on the corners practically turned into dust over time, it’s quite possible to find such a treasure.

The rubble of a house is also considered an ideal place to look for antiques. Their top layer contains a lot of debris and rotten iron, but under the rubble there may be objects of quite decent size, including clay pots, bottles, knives, axes, and in some cases even weapons. On, you can see that many valuable items were found precisely under the rubble.

The attic space also holds many secrets. In principle, we are also not used to immediately throwing away unnecessary things and tidy them up in some secluded corner. And the attic most often becomes such a corner. Here you can find not only ancient utensils and household items - some people turned the attic into a storage place for quite valuable items. Therefore, it is not surprising to find such finds here as ancient books, mirrors, weapons, coins, chests self made and much, much more.

We all want to find something valuable in the ground, we all look for coins, sometimes we ask ourselves the question, how to find a treasure? We search for information on the Internet, read a lot of literature, go out in search of promising places, but, as a rule, we return empty, or at best we find a few coins.

The treasures were not hidden because of good times, or something happened and they were hidden in the ground for a quick fix, up to half a meter deep. Or somewhere in the house. It could be a floor, a stove, or even a well.

Therefore, it is very easy to find them. It’s not for nothing that when looking for coins on an old farm, you come across pots of coins. With copper or silver or even gold. This is all due to the fact that the treasures are not so hidden from our eyes, the main thing is patience, not a lot of knowledge and MD, but it’s possible even without it

How to find a treasure?

We will not search for famous treasures, such as “Treasure of Lenka Panteleev”, “Treasures of the Smolensk Bank” or even look for the “Library of Ivan the Terrible”.

I was so stupid once before. And I almost got lost in the Odessa catacombs. And all because of the search for the treasure of Mishka Jap. For four days I searched for a way out of the dungeon, and returned empty-handed, scared, hungry, dirty, and without any finds.

Don't repeat my mistakes. We will not be able to find large treasures, since they have been searched for centuries by more experienced people than us. Perhaps some of them were even found, but history is silent about this.

To search for random treasures, we, of course, will need a metal detector; I advise you to choose one of these models.

– price 6300 UAH;

– price 10200 UAH;

– price 8520 UAH;

– price 4788 UAH;

– price 3540 UAH:
Next we need an old map. I advise you to use “Schubert cards”. There are a lot of them on the Internet. They exist for every city and village. You download, roughly overlay the old map on the new one, or roughly navigate by rivers, lakes and capes.

That's it, we have a metal detector, we already know approximately where to go. All that remains is to answer the question: where can you find the treasure?

But here, rely on luck. Finding it is quite possible. Here are the treasures recovered in Ukraine in the summer of 2013. Please note that under the word summer, I have entered three months:

They say that in Odessa all places have been knocked out. That’s what I and all my fellow comrades said. But one of the diggers proved otherwise. Because he came across a treasure trove of Soviet coins. Although they are not particularly valuable, they are still a TREASURE!!!

Here is also an interesting treasure trove of royal coppers. As the author kostjan771 says, “it’s like the place is broken and broken, and I myself have already dug here 100 times. But when I arrived again, I came across a very interesting signal, as if the device had gone crazy and malfunctioned. I walked about 3 meters away and the signal disappeared. Then I realized there was something large and colored under the coil. I dug into the depths with two bayonets of a shovel, and then I came across a treasure.”

It’s hard to call it a treasure, because there are very few coins. But let's call it a greasy mess. I counted 15 coins with a face value of 2 kopecks. Cool in one word!!!

As one of the diggers who found this treasure says, “There are no knocked out places.” So, under this phrase, he went into battle with a metal detector. After an hour of active digging, this treasure trove of early tips was picked up. Coins with denomination 1921 and until 1930. Total 1309 coins.

Here is also an interesting treasure in the hat. As far as I know, there are 1 ruble and 50 royal kopecks here. And in those days they were made from precious metals. Result: 1 ruble 1737, half of 1723, 6 pieces of kopeck coins of 1744-1748, 14 pieces of nickels (crosses), 16 pieces of half rubles and 68 pieces of money.

This treasure really resonated with me. Again in the knocked out place. So “there are no knocked out places.”

Well, that's not all. I already wrote about . You can also find a lot of interesting antiques there, including treasures and heaps of old coins in good condition. So, don't forget about him either.

Finding a treasure is quite possible. You just need to look and believe in chance. Luck will definitely smile on you and you will find a small or even large pot of coins.

Not only adventurers are interested in how to find treasure and make a little profit. After all, during the search you can be in nature, alone with yourself and your thoughts. Take a break from the bustle of the city, get rid of oppressive problems and just relax. No wonder this hobby is compared to fishing.

Choosing a new hobby

A professional treasure hunter will have to spend:

  • Normal metal detector.
  • Gasoline for transport.
  • Maps of the search area.
  • Own time.

What’s even more interesting is that most likely there will be no profit. Even the most successful treasure hunters break even; the majority cannot even provide themselves with the average income for the region. Do not be surprised if the cost of all finds for a year of work does not exceed $200; even this figure will be considered a sign of success.

All searches for treasures boil down to the fact that this is simply a good way to spend time. A person is busy with something, he has no time for “bad” thoughts and has at least some goal. Not the cheapest hobby, but what can you do?

There are options for spending your free time with big expenses. Besides, always there is a chance of finding something really rare and getting rich. And although there are still many undisturbed valuable finds in our land, the likelihood of this event becomes less and less every year. Nobody is currently burying new antiques in the ground.

What to do if you find a treasure?

The question can be considered from a legal point of view:

  1. After finding valuables, you must contact the nearest police station.
  2. Notify employees about the find and write a statement.
  3. Make an inventory of all items.
  4. Wait for further proceedings.
  • Return the entire treasure if the discovery was made on your own plot of land.
  • Withdraw in favor of the state, in full size, if the treasure is of cultural value.
  • Divide the “relics” in half between you and the owner of the site, if you conducted the search with his consent.
  • Return it in full to the owner of the land if you did not receive his consent to excavation.

The moment when the treasure hunter was hired by the landowner is settled separately, according to the concluded agreement. To follow the letter of the law or not, especially if we're talking about about a pair of coins with a total value of $5 - it's up to you.

Most likely, no one in the department will deal with a couple of coppers. But an attempt to hide and sell truly valuable antiquities can result in problems with the law.

Most often, the treasure hunter receives 50% of the value of his find, sometimes this amount has to be divided with the owner of the land.

In this video, Timur Sokolovsky tells how he found the real treasure and what he did after:

How to find treasure without a metal detector?

This type of search is not doomed to failure, but the probability of success is not so high:

  1. Without specialized equipment, you can only rely on your eyes.
  2. It is worth starting excavations only if there is 100% confidence in the correctness of the chosen site.
  3. Information received from others and ancient maps are of great importance.
  4. Before choosing a search area, you should familiarize yourself with the history of the topography of the site - what was there before in this place, where the nearest settlements were located?

Now almost all the “grain” places have already been dug up, the likelihood of simply stumbling upon a scattering of ancient coins in an open field is reduced to zero. Therefore, it is best to go to some remote area, after making sure that there was a settlement there in tsarist times.

Afterwards, you can begin to carefully ask the population about local legends, because almost every village has a story about hidden valuables. Abandoned houses are also ideal for this type of search - attics, cellars and wells should be given special attention. It was there that villagers most often hid their valuables.

The houses of the wealthiest peasants should be located in the center of the settlement; it is better to start the search with them.

Is it really possible to get rich from treasures?

People have always been fascinated by the concept of search:

  • There is no need to create something new.
  • The final result depends only on luck and awareness.
  • Everything received can be appropriated for yourself, without any twinges of conscience.

Primitive psychology comes into play - I found it, not created it. This means that no effort was made, the value was given for nothing. The time spent is somehow not taken into account in this calculation. But in fact, even if you receive the average salary in the region, you can get as much in a year as the average treasure hunter would not find in decades of persistent searching.

As an option to make money or get rich quick, treasure hunting is not best idea. But if you have your own plot where “family heirlooms” were once lost, it would be foolish not to try to find them.

Participation in archaeological expeditions as a student can greatly influence a person’s interests - you feel a certain involvement in something truly great. Especially when there is history around you, or rather even under your feet, and you can literally touch it.

And there will also be a “plus in karma”, the finds will go to the museum and will delight visitors for many decades.

How to find treasure in the forest?

For this type of search you should have:

  • Metal detector.
  • Personal transport.
  • With cards.
  • Patience.

The area of all the forests in our country is too large to be explored alone. Therefore, it is necessary to at least know approximately what and where we will look.

As a rule, gold acquired through dishonest labor was hidden in the forests - the fruit of robbery, fraud and theft. You should first study the history of the treasure that interests you:

  1. Were the people described in this story really present in this region, even just passing through?
  2. Has the treasure been found before?
  3. How big could a “bank” be and could it even exist?

In addition to maps and stories, you can be guided by trails and signs of housing that once stood on the edge of the forest. But if you like to go into the forest to pick mushrooms, remember, have you ever found something valuable? Most likely the answer will be no. With a metal detector and cards, the chances will increase, but not by much.

How to look for values correctly?

The search for treasure should begin:

  • From the purchase of a metal detector and all the necessary equipment.
  • With the understanding that this business will not allow you to get rich and will not become the main source of income.
  • If you have a lot of free time and no hobbies.
  • If possible, periodically travel to neighboring regions.
  • After reading local stories about wealthy people, robbers and swindlers. Somewhere nearby there will always be a story of lost or hidden wealth.

The treasures are now, unfortunately, no longer “relevant”; too many enthusiasts got down to business in the 20th century. Good technical equipment and diligence allowed them to “drain” the reserves hidden on the surface. The remaining significant values are too difficult to find. Otherwise they would have been dug up long ago.

Today you can only try to find out how to find treasure and dream of wealth as a hobby. At least some serious income and fame can come from unexpected archaeological finds- preferably with real historical value.

Video: signs that can help you discover treasure

In this video, professional treasure hunter Igor Romanov will tell you what signs you can use to find treasure in the ground and in ancient buildings:

First, you need to decide on the word “treasure” itself. What exactly do you personally mean by this concept?

There are people for whom something large-scale and powerful lies in such a word. For example, they imagine Spanish galleons loaded with silver and gold, or weighty chests and barrels filled with precious stones and countless treasures. If you are one of these people, you will be somewhat disappointed. Such ideas arise due to a distorted understanding of the term “treasure hunter.”

When searching for treasure, you will need to be able to clearly navigate your finds, determining their true value. After all, something that at first seemed like useless nonsense to you may well cost a fortune.

The fact is that treasure can be not only a sunken ship. They may turn out to be 2-3 ordinary in appearance and very much from the time of Peter I, which you managed to dig up in your grandmother’s garden using a metal detector. In this case, you have every reason to consider yourself a real treasure hunter, and your couple of coins as a found treasure.

How to choose a place where the treasure may be located?

Treasure can be found in any, even the most unexpected place. For example, this could happen completely by accident. Thus, the famous “Glodos belongings” were found by an ordinary collective farmer from the Kirovograd region when he was working in his garden.

You can search for treasure purposefully, for example, in historically famous places. Thus, many treasure hunters carry out their work in the Sevastopol Bay, where in the distant times of the Russian-Turkish war, English ships with gold sank.

There are legends about treasures hidden in the Volgograd region. As the legends say, which are passed down from generation to generation by the local residents of this region, treasures were buried on the Volga land richest people past - Stepan Razin, Emelyan Pugachev, Batu Khan. To date, no one has found hidden treasures there yet.

As shown recent years, the most expensive treasures are discovered in the city during the demolition and restoration of old houses. But the countryside leads in the number of finds. When searching rural areas, it is necessary to understand the reasons for the presence of treasures in them. For example, in the place where there was a fair in the 18th century, there may be not only a clearing rich in finds, but also a couple of caches with jugs filled with money from those years.

The best place to look for treasure in rural areas is old tracts. The likelihood of a find is higher if the old abandoned city or village was once destroyed during a war or, for example, a revolution.

How to look for treasures in such places? To accurately determine the location of the caches, you will need a couple of large-scale maps. The first of them should be from those years, revolution or war, and the other should be modern. By placing one card on top of another, you can find out what buildings were previously located on the current ruins or wasteland.

How to look for treasures

For search work you will need standard treasure hunting equipment. This is a GPS navigator or compass, a mining shovel and a metal detector. If you are used to approaching everything carefully, you can ask the old-timers of that area about their stories and legends. Of the hundred legends that will be told to you, one may turn out to be a real story.

So, you have reached your destination - a former settlement. Consulting, try to select a suitable area for research. Start by searching with a metal detector. You may stumble upon something valuable even at the turf level.

When searching for treasure, you will need to show composure, attention and accuracy.

It is best if the place where you want to find the treasure has several hundred years of history. In this case, in the soil under your feet you can find up to several hundred coins from different eras.

After this, you can start searching for clothing caches. Imagine a situation in which people in the past, during a revolution or World War II, were forced unexpectedly and short terms leave their homes. The more urgent the departure, the less things they could take with them. So people simply buried their belongings, hoping to retrieve them later.

However, as practice shows, in 99 percent out of 100 such caches remain for centuries, and no one returns for them. Such treasures may contain useful and surprising items. Here you will need not just a metal detector, but a device capable of operating at a fairly large depth.

To know what exactly you might stumble upon, you need to understand the mechanism by which these treasures are created. Usually, various valuables and belongings were placed in durable chests or boxes. A decent-sized hole was dug right next to the house, into which people dumped their things, covering them with stones, earth, etc.

It is best to look for such caches in gardens and courtyards, in sheds and vegetable gardens. In some houses, the floorboards were dismantled, and a hole was dug into the foundation itself. The boxes were put there too. That is why it is so important to determine the location of the old building and its utility rooms before starting a treasure hunt.

Even if over time the house was blown apart, figure out where the porch, courtyards, and sheds were located. It’s also useful to use your head and think about where something could be buried here.

Well, who among us as a child did not dream of searching and finding treasures? Some are so keen on this idea that they carry it throughout their lives and engage in an exciting hobby - treasure hunting. This is a rather difficult task, not much like relaxation, and it is not crowned with success every time. But the adrenaline of unearthing a new find is incomparable. If you have been dreaming about this for a long time, then we will help you figure out how to find the treasure.

Finding treasure is a very difficult thing. First of all, remember - luck and luck again. It is this fickle sister who, sometimes, will turn a beginner who goes out on a search for the first time into a lucky one, while avoiding an experienced treasure hunter. Accordingly, if you have firmly decided to take up this matter, it is absolutely clear that you will have a bunch of pressing questions - where to look, how to look, when to look, etc. Let’s look at the points:

  • where to look. The answer is very simple - in the places where the treasure is supposed to be located. It is easy to learn about these places from ancient legends, stories and ordinary logical judgments. You can do this - choose an old village in mind, appease its very elderly resident (with the help of alcohol), and you will hear many legends about treasures and burials of treasures. Villages like these are an ideal place to search for ancient, most valuable treasures. However, there is a simplified option - people’s favorite vacation spots. These are various beaches, forest clearings, etc. Vacationers with alcohol could probably lose something valuable, lose sight of it, and sometimes the sea itself washes valuable things ashore.
  • how to search. Here you have a choice - you can use auxiliary tools - metal detectors, or start searching empty-handed. But for the second option, you need to be more or less sure of the presence of a find, otherwise there is a high probability of wasting time.
  • when to look. Well, it’s very simple - to search you need to choose calm, cool, but not rainy weather. It is best at the beginning of summer and at the beginning - at the end of autumn.

Prayer to find treasure

As already stated, great value good luck for treasure hunting. Therefore, and for a number of other reasons (to calm the forces guarding the treasure, to protect one’s own soul), various customs and conspiracies have become so popular among treasure hunters. Everyone has their own, and experienced comrades will not share with you. For example, there is a well-known custom of burying various objects in the ground - food, drinks, etc. to appease the earthly spirit, or on the principle of compensation in case of a successful search. Christians have their own patrons of treasure hunting among the saints - St. John and the Apostle Gold.

The prayer for a successful and safe search sounds like this:

Where were the treasures hidden?

In order for the treasure hunt to be successful, it is necessary to find out exactly the places where they most often hid their savings in ancient times. First of all, look at your home, no matter how paradoxical it may sound. There are many stories about finding old money, gold and coins in the attic, in the closet, in an abandoned barn and basement, in old chests or hiding places under the floor, especially if your home is more than fifty years old. Perhaps your great-great-grandmothers and great-great-grandfathers tried to hide their wealth using this very method.

Let's return to the topic of old villages. It can be assumed that most often villagers and peasants in the old days buried money in the ground. And so that the loosened earth did not attract attention, and it was dangerous to place the treasure too far away due to the possibility of its loss, they buried jewelry and coins in the yard and vegetable garden. Therefore, you can check such places near abandoned, old-built houses and territories.

More recently, the beginning of the 19th century, during the period of dispossession, it became popular to hide savings in a well. However, searching there, especially if the water intake site is made of wood, is terribly dangerous, you may fail, and there is a risk of the structure collapsing. Therefore, without skill and preparation, and also if the place is unreliable, you should not climb there.

Well, the most common places are, of course, beaches, forest glades and other natural areas, but only with a corresponding history.

But still, no matter how much you want to find treasures, avoid disturbing the peace of old graves, mounds and other historical places. Not only can you incur criminal liability for this, there is a high probability of getting yourself into trouble.

Believe the old legend, and perhaps luck will smile on you.

How to find treasure without a metal detector

The age of modern technology has made treasure hunting much easier; all you need to do is arm yourself with such a useful thing as a metal detector and simply scan surfaces for required metals. But how romantic it is to conduct excavations without a metal detector, and it’s not always possible to use one.

Finding treasure without a metal detector is not easy, but terribly interesting. Here you need to rely on your eyes, attentiveness and logic. First of all, you need to pay special attention to the time and place of searches - it is best to search in spring and autumn, after rain - the soil will become loose, easy to dig, and water will slightly wash away the top layer of soil. You need to go on a search to ancient places mentioned in legends, where the likelihood of a successful search is higher. When you arrive at the site, pay attention to the surface; the presence of fragments of ceramics and clay, bricks indicates the possible location of the find.

You can dig in several ways - simply dig a hole or trench, or lay holes - remove the soil layer by layer and at a certain distance. This is very hard work, but it significantly increases the chance of being found. If during your search you come across a coin or something like that, or some kind of shard, you are on the right path, don’t stop. It would be advisable to dig through the entire area using the pit method to search for even greater finds.

And most importantly, don’t forget to clean up after yourself and put the search area in order after the excavation in any case!
